What openodds Is Really About
We didn't set out to build another generic online platform. The starting point was a simple observation: American sports fans — the ones tracking NFL point spreads on their lunch break, building March Madness brackets at the kitchen table, or checking NBA player props from a Pittsburgh bar stool — were underserved by platforms that weren't designed around their actual wallets and
habits. So we built openodds with PayPal, Venmo, and Play+ prepaid cards at the center of the deposit and withdrawal flow, not bolted on as afterthoughts. When you add funds through Venmo, the balance shows in your account wallet almost immediately. When you request a withdrawal to PayPal, the verification step is short and the path is clear. The sports lobby foregrounds
NFL football, college football, the NBA, MLB, and the NHL — same-game parlays and player props front and center, not buried in a sub-menu. That focus is intentional. We wanted a platform where the person who knows the spread already feels at home from the second they open the app.
